Back in 2017 I purchased a used hot tub, which then broke on me. I called the “local” hot tub company, but they refused to service my hot tub since I did not purchase it from them. Fortunately, my father had taught me how to fix and repair things, because honestly, we didn’t have the money to pay someone else to do it. I was able to diagnose and figure out what was wrong with my hot tub. I ordered the parts online, making the repair. Thus, Aquatic Spas was born.

My uncle Doug in Florida gave me an extra Spa Dolly trailer he had so I could start moving hot tubs along with servicing them. I started to purchase older spas online and repairing them in my back yard. This was all done after working my full-time job in Law Enforcement.

A year later and my “side hustle” business is doing well. I was either moving a hot tub, fixing one or installing a brand new one at this point almost every single day! My wife Nicole told me we needed to take the business to the next level by getting a retail location and opening a hot tub store. She stood beside me and we made the leap of faith together. Personally, I think she was just tired of having 3-4 hot tubs in her backyard in different stages of repair!!

So now we have a hot tub store, but I am only open a few days a week in the evening hours after I get off of work at the Police Department. One evening, a customer named Ken comes into the store to purchase a Hot Tub. After telling Ken that I still work at the Police Department and can only be open part time, Ken tells me that he’d like to work for Aquatic Spas for whatever we could afford. He wanted to see the business succeed and he would help out anyway he could. Ken worked for Aquatic Spas until shortly after I retired in Feb. 2022 from the Police Dept. having 25 years of service.

I am now officially running Aquatic Spas full-time. We believe in offering quality products and services that enhance our customers health and lifestyle. We will only sell quality products, not quantity or cheap “online” China made. Our success is measured by our customers who choose us because of their belief in our ability to meet or exceed their expectations of quality, price, service and expertise.
